Card with Maya Road Zipper Trim
Feel Better Soon
Today I wanted to show you a quick card I made from yesterday's project's scraps. Absolutely everything (including the bow and button) was sitting on my table waiting to be crafted into SOMETHING.
So this is how it ended up. I think the zipper is a fun addition to the card. Sort of unexpected! Thanks for looking!

Diecut Frame Kit
We Were Made to Find Enjoyment
The entire project is made from a huge die cut. Each of us were challenged to make one in our own style. When I found the quote, "We were made to find enjoyment", I knew I wanted to use pictures from a July 4th trip we took two years ago.
The flowers are all from Prima. I think they make the most amazing floral embellishments! And The Crafty Scrapper is selling these die cut kits. You can buy them online from them. Thanks for looking! Susie

A Little Love Letter
I swooned a little when I saw the brand new My Minds Eye Miss Caroline collections. I forced myself to limit my purchase to two of the 6x6 paper pads. This one is called Howdy Doody. The papers in this pad are just so sweet and girly.
The background paper on the card has that precious flower motif on the lower left. I added a Prima flower for texture.
The little banner just makes me smile. It is a die from PaperTrey Ink. I cut off the top to make it flush and then attached the rounded part back onto the little banner so it looks like it is a pocket (maybe with a love letter in it).
The stamps are all from a MFT Stamps collection called First Class Friend. And that little stick pin is part of the Miss Caroline collection too.

You Make Feel Feel Warm All Over
I was so excited to use this little image from MFT Stamps. She is actually a firefighter, but I decided to create her NOT highlighting her occupation. Instead, I just wrapped her in a warm plaid coat and then covered her firefighter emblem with a little flower to make a fun hat.
The papers are from another MME Miss Carolyn collection. This one is called Dilly Dally. I can see a lot of boy-possibilities in this paper pad too.

My Favorite Things Stamps
I suppose this precious My Favorite Things stamp was designed for July 4th, but I decided to bring her out a few months early and let her celebrate another great American holiday!
I colored her with Copic markersand paper pieced her little dress. Her sparkler is highlighted with both gold and clear Spica markers. And isn't that a cute pre made embellishment?
I used Spellbinders oval dies for the focal image and mat. But I thought it needed some scallops too. So out came my MFT Stamps large scallop border die. Four scallops later and I was done!

BoBunny Layout with Thickers
This post is from Design Team Member Anita.
Today I am showing off some beautiful new Bo Bunny paper that I got
from The Crafty Scrapper - there is so much new product coming in!!
I love the colors on this paper, I knew I wanted to use black and white
photos with it so that the colors would shine.
How gorgeous is this paper?! I need more of it. I also used Maya Road, Prima, Tim Holtz die,
Tsukineko Inks, Thinkers, some random lace, KaiserKraft bling, Inka-Gold and some stuff from my stash.
Since this layout is for someone else I have left the journaling blank.
Thanks for looking!! Anita
You Make My Heart Skip a Beat
Here is a new little MFT Stamps cutie for you.
My card is made of scraps from another project (that I will be showing you soon) and of course I had to use a small scrap to paper piece her dress. I just think she is super cute!
The only dies I used on this card were from Spellbinders. I find that many of these images fit perfectly in the oval shapes.
I try to make a card or two when I have scraps left over from a larger project. I wonder if you do that too or if you give your scraps away. I have a friend with whom I share scraps. So whether I use my scraps or give them away....they eventually get used up.
Thanks for looking!

Let Freedom Ring
I love these pictures of my grandson. He is just so comfortable in his own skin and always looks so relaxed!
The embellishments on this page are premade and that made it pretty simple. And of course.....I love Thickers. And these have glitter on them. WOO HOO!!

Little Blue Baby Banner
I made this little banner as a design team project for The Crafty Scrapper. These are premade by Maya Road. I painted the lacy pennants with craft paint and then used some distress ink to age the paint a bit. I sanded also. Sanding and inking make a great combo for distressing. After that, adhering the papers and the little clothespins went quickly. Then I just added a few pretties and called it done!

Isn't She Lovely
I wanted to share this layout with a picture of our beautiful granddaughter, Izzy.
This picture was taken last year...she is even more beautiful now at the age of five. So when I saw this paper line from My Mind's Eye, I knew I would use it on a layout about our Izzy.
I wanted to keep the focus on her, but still have the layout appear a bit fussy and feminine. I cut four rows of scallops using a die from MFT Stamps. Then I pulled out some more of their dies to make felt flowers.
The rest of the embellishments are part of the paper line and are premade. I love mixing handmade and premade.
This layout came together very quickly for me. I think the papers just inspire me!

Love You Sew Much
Just a quick little card from from scraps to show you today. I used Spellbinders circles for the focal image. That little sewing machine is from a set by MFT Stamps.
Mixing and matching scraps is a really fun way to make cards. I don't usually do it that way...because more often than not, I am starting with a card, not ending with one. So when I have scraps, I really like to make cards with them.

Let Freedom Ring
The base for this is made from three Maya Road house chipboard pieces, and using Maya Road trim. It was designed to be a mini book, but I never used it that way and decided to make this little holiday gem instead.
The pictures are from last year's July 4th parade. Our little Caleb and his friend Jillian were glad to pose!

A Day In The City........
Don't faint, its me Carolyn writing a blog post! I am in New Jersey with my travel buddy Lisa Pace, getting ready to attend RangerU tomorrow. She is sitting here in the hotel room writing her blog post and just informed me I needed to get busy and write mine, so here we go.....
We arrived a day early so we could take a train into New York City since we both have never been there, I know hard to believe!
Lisa has wanted to visit Tinsel Trading forever, that was our first visit. Not Time Square or The Empire State Building or Rockefeller Center but Tinsel Trading. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and learning the history of her Grandfather and how he started the business. I was so amazed at the old vintage trim and the boxes of stuff everywhere, it was pure heaven! While there I opened a wholesale account and placed a order. I also purchased several things to bring back with me.
Well I better get to bed, tomorrow we start RangerU, and words cannot express how EXCITED we both are......
I would like to add that I finished my blog post first......
