Home From Market

I made it back from CHA around midnight Wednesday night. I was glad I missed most of the ice that had been here in the area while I was gone. Thursday, I hopped right back into the usual routine at the store. I am so excited to show you all the new things I ordered, but that would be nearly impossible. I hope you are excited to see them as they come in.

Friday night we had 22 here for late night cropping and Saturday the store was busy with the usual traffic and two classes. The class this week was a very popular one taught by Brook. This is the fourth and fifth time she has taught this class now. Every time she teaches it, I say I want to get pictures and Saturday I finally did.

One of the really cool things about this class is how different each person has done their album. Everyone starts out with a different record album and then chooses papers to compliment it and makes a book. As you can see from the pictures, it has appealed to many different groups; teens, adults, males, females, etc. Brook may not be teaching this exact class again (at least for a while), but she will have others each month for making books and using the Bind It All.

The classes have been really filling up which is great news for us. We are really trying to broaden the scope of the classes, so that many can find something of interest. Be sure to check out other classes here We hope you can join us for a class or a crop soon.

Another busy day.......

First I must say, Cheryl and Megan are a blast to hang out with, my stomach hurts so bad from laughing so hard!

Check out these projects Cheryl made for her booth.......

And yes I asked her to teach this as another class at the store soon......

After I helped them for a while I headed over to Maya Road booth to help Caroline. When they started unpacking all the projects, I was blown away with the talent. Here are some pictures of the great stuff all these girls made....

Aubrey, Katie, Lisa and Laura, Maya Road Designers.......

As usual Creative Imaginations put on a great party! This year the theme was Star Wars. We had a blast and got to visit with Cat from Mineral Wells and Terry from Wichita Falls. We all feel a shop hop in the future......

Back at the Hotel as all four of us were talking and cutting up, Cheryl remembered her friend was sending a special project Fedex.......well check this out! We all stood around it speechless for over 10 minutes.....

This was made with all their new molds, is this not beautiful?

We are here.........

Well we are here and its been a crazy day with our buddies from Ten Seconds Studio, Megan and Cheryl. I feel like I have driven all over California today....and this little guy was not any help, Cheryl was about to use her glock on it! We met up with them at the airport were Megan sat us down to tell us the ground rules......She informed us the first thing we were doing when we got here was stopping here, it was all about the in-n-out burger...............
Then we were off to the convention to put up things in their booth...................
We dined at Megan's (again on her list) favorite spot, were she said the food was like a party in her mouth. I must say she was right, dinner was awesome!

We then headed to the Art Bar were they were doing make-n-takes. This was one of the coolest, artsy places. I thought of you Sherri, you would have felt like you were in heaven. I bought some really cool stuff for you girls to play with.
Sorry so short on details, its late and Cheryl told us we must be ready at 7am. I will try and post more tomorrow night. Heidi is helping them tomorrow and I am headed over to Maya Road booth to help Caroline set up. Then we are off to the Creative Imaginations party to see all the new stuff.

Night.....
