This last weekend we took off to Lake Whitney to get one more camping trip in before school starts. It was a beautiful weekend and the fishing was great. I told my dear friend Michelle, who got me hooked on fishing, that it had to be good fishing if I was FINALLY catching something.
After catching 3 BIG cat fish, my husband taught me how to clean the fish, this part I do not like, and we had the freshest cat fish for dinner.
As you can see by the look on my sons face, he was not happy about cooking the cat fish, he wanted to take them home as a pet. Little Madeleine fished all weekend too and has gotten quite good herself, she caught a fish too!
Now its time to get busy at the shop.......all the new CHA stuff is starting to ship and we have something special planned almost every weekend......so stay tuned for shop updates!
