Creating Custom Jewelry with Shelley

Hi everyone!
Shelley here with some softball necklaces for the moms on my daughter's team!

Get your soldering supplies at The Crafty Scrapper and make some of these on your own!

These 1" x 3" necklaces are made with a picture between two pieces of glass.  Solder a ring at the top to put your ball chain through, and one on the bottom for some charms!

I put the necklaces in some small white paper bags that I stamped on and colored with Copic markers.
Each bag had the player's name on the banner, and her number on the player's hat.

The Crafty Scrapper carries this line of stamps and all the colors of Copic markers one could need!

The girls loved the bags and the moms loved their necklaces!

Just so the girls wouldn't feel left out, I also made these bottle-cap necklaces!  I put an image in the bottlecap, then used Glossy Accents on the top!

These were fun projects, and I'm glad I got to share them with you!

Design Team Challenge with Shelley

Shelley here, with a Sweet Treat, just in time for Valentine's Day!   This is my entry for the Design Team Challenge!

I've made a few Valentine's Day Magnets, and decorated a jar to put a few treats in!

For the jar, I took a doilly and sprayed it with Shimmering Mist.  After it dried, I covered the inside metal lid, and put the ring around it.  These fabulous cupcakes were made with the "Delightful Cupcakes" Die-Namites Die and some thin metal.  They look good enough to eat!

Here are the magnet-valentines I made!

I started with chipboard pieces.  On the scalloped piece, I used Inka Gold in "Lava Red".  This provided a nice base to start with!  For the top chipboard piece, I used a piece of Cotswald Manor paper.  The "Heart Bouquet" is another awesome die from Die-Namites!  To give the little chipboard bird a little bit of texture, I used the Viva Magic Transparent Pearl Pen.  I glued a piece of magnet on the back of the piece.  So, instead of giving a little Valentine's Day card, I will give my Valentines a little magnet that will have them thinking of me just a little bit longer!

On this magnet, I used the "Delightful Cupcakes" diecut again!  I cut it in two different colors of metal, allowing me to have the cut-out parts in a different color, and then I glued them on!

I hope you enjoyed my project!  Please stop back in regularly to see what wonderful things The Crafty Scrapper has to share!!

Cheerleading album with Shelley

Shelley, here, with a fun Cheerleading Album!

I bought this megaphone chipboard album at The Crafty Scrapper!  It is by Heart of Texas Studios!  I used these cute banner chipboard pieces and letters, and twine by Maya Road to embellish the front.

Here is the 2nd page.  I used a couple of different pieces of paper, some awesome star ribbon, and some zipper trim on this page.

Just a few ribbons and a couple of stickers here!

I used a punch for the paws, then used Glossy Accents over them.

On this page, I used a decorative bottlecap and a cheer girl for a mum on this page!

This is how the book opens up and shows the two pages at a time.

Cool straws and some paw ribbon from The Crafty Scrapper!

Metal corners are my favorite!

Here is the back of the album!

I enjoyed sharing this album with you!  I hope you enjoyed looking!

Good morning everyone!
Shelley, here, with a layout using Simple Stories!

For this layout, I started out layering pieces from the Simple Stories "Homespun" collection.  This was such a pretty and fun collection with lots of color!

I used several chipboard pieces from Maya Road, and painted them with Tim Holtz's Distress Paint!   They came out fabby!

A few sentiments on this cool chalkboard label really set the picture off!

This little tree paper clip was the most fun!

I loved the overall effect of these fun items with my "fun" daughter's pic!  lol
