Hello Sunshine!

If you have been to the store, then you know that the front door sticks when we have had a lot of rain. Today, this was not a problem. We could keep the door open and let the sun and warmth fill the store. Wasn't it great outside today?

Perhaps you have seen this little sample at the front counter of the store.

This was made with a shadow box frame from Darcie. These come in many sizes-from 3 inches up to 8 inches across (see pic below). The can be built easily and make great shadow boxes. The examples that Darcie makes include her stamps and other items she makes. We have some of her stamps in the store too. Take a minute to check them out next time you come by the store.

Of course, you probably already know about these items. We have some still in stock.
If you had pre-ordered them, you can either pick up what has come in now or wait until all of them arrive-either way they are held back for you. The texture fades and a few of the dies were not shipped yet. Several were shipped this week to us and are now on the shelves for sale.

The sun coming out today made it more real that Spring and Summer are on their way. Creative Imaginations newest Travel line and their newest national park papers are out on the shelf as of today.

The travel line has really nice soft colors and would work for many places and types of activities.

The National Park papers are like landscape watercolor paintings on a 12 x 12 paper. The three parks included in this release are Grand Canyon (with Lake Mead), Yosemite including the falls and Great Smoky Mountains. These join in with the other camping lines we have been getting.

We also have two new birthday lines from Creative Imaginations. The first is called Birthday Bliss from Basics 101. The other is from the Old Guys Rule line. I do not have pictures of those, but they are great lines too, perfect for all the birthday scrapping you will be doing this year!

Hey Good Lookin'

For you folks who have something coookin', we received two new recipe paper lines today. Modern Market and Sweet Summertime from Cookbookin'.

The Modern Market line is bright and cheery in its colors.

The Sweet Summertime line is a soft colored line. There are bees and flowers along with other picnic type designs.

Have you seen the new diamond shaped jewels from The Robin's Nest? Very cool and all of them are in stock right now. They also have some great toon hands for Disney books or pages you might be doing.

Simply Swank items have come in. I know Several of you are waiting for those items. AND,We received another batch of Delight In The Details by Lisa Pace. If you want a copy, I would suggest you hurry. The last batch sold out in just a few days.

More coming in each day and NO, I haven't been getting it all posted, but we'll keep trying!

TCFW?

Too cute for words!...not sure if that is a commonly used acronym, but it fits.

Today's shipment of goodies included four Jillibean-soup lines of paper. All four are very cute, but in different ways. Each of the lines is named with a soup name and each paper's name is an ingredient in that soup--in case you wonder as you read through the names here.

Here are a couple of pictures from the lines:

Above is from the Chicken Noodle Soup line. The paper is called Peeled Carrots.

This is from the Old World Cabbage Stew collection and is called Head of Cabbage.

This paper is one of their kraft papers in the New England Chowder Collection. This paper is called Chopped Sea Clams.

The fourth line we got was Egg Drop Soup. A very Spring-y paper with chicks, bunnies, umbrellas and fun ginghams. We covered the pig and duck in the first picture with those papers.

To see more examples we made using these lines, please check out the design team blog here.

What's New?

As you know--if you receive our newsletter, the birthday crop sign ups were today. YES, it is full and we are doing a waiting list...you never know, so sign up for that if you are wanting to come that day.

Products continue to appear via the UPS, Fed Ex and Post Office folks. A few of the items that are new this week are:

Two new lines from Sassafrass Lass-Apple Jack and Cherry Delicious. I don't have pictures of it, but you can take a look at their site here.

A new paper company that many have been anxious to see is the Girl's Paperie. We have both the Paper Girl and On Holiday papers and stamps. The completion items will come in April. Here is a picture from CHA of the Paper Girl line used in a collage. Check out all of the papers
here

The real wood has also arrived. So fun and so many possibilities. Think of the projects you could do mixing wood in with the paper, metal, canvas and other textures in the store.

A box full of great die cuts from Scrap FX arrived as well. Some of the newest ones include packs for recipe books. We also got a new recipe book and baby book from them that you will love.

For anyone waiting for the restock of Domestic Goddess by Graphic 45--it is here too.

All of Wendy Vecchi's new stamps have arrived. I know a lot of you were waiting for those as well.

Tomorrow is sure to bring even more yummy goodies... Later!

Tags: Day 5 and Other News

This tag uses that cute heart spinner from Little Yellow Bicycle, but I am quite sure that even without that piece, you can figure out something for this tag.

It was great to hear your thoughts on the tag from yesterday and how you saw using it or making it. Based on random number picking, Carmen is the winner of the prize. It will be at the store if you are coming that way soon. If not, email us and we'll get it to you.

The products are now starting to roll in. January is always kind of blah without many new products. Thankfully, we were able to get some great things in during that month. Now the new stuff that we saw at CHA is rolling in.

A new company we ordered from is Impression Obsession. They have some great stamp images including a 6 x 6 stamp that covers a card or would work as background stamps. Their images are really nice. We also got some of their cling stamps and the mega mount. See their product here. Click on their 2009-Fall-Winter-IO-Supplement. It will open up a pdf of all of their products. Be sure to scroll down and see the mega mount.

Also, Thursday, we received two paper lines from Three bugs in a Rug. Another new company for us. The first is Animal Stackers. Cute for baby or a trip to the zoo.

The full line can be seen here.

This line is The Great Outdoors. Camping and many other outdoor activities could be capture on this paper.

The full line can be seen here.

Two lines from Imaginisce came in as well. One is called Lucy Bird. Here is one of the papers from this line. Sweet. Thankfully, there are some lines with birds in them this season. So many people have asked for them.

Their other line is Scooter's Vacation. Designed to be versatile, not just for a trip, but can be used for other memory making occasions too. Here is a picture of the pack.

We also got a full display of Flower Soft. If you haven't used it, you should. Here are a couple pictures from their booth at CHA. They have a blog as well, and have awesome samples there.

Despite the name, it is also perfect for fur, clouds, frosting and other textures you would like to add to your work.

In addition to all of the above, we have received two boxes of ribbons...and still have more to go.

Leave us your thoughts----on the tag, new product, ideas, etc.
