I was so excited to receive my first design team assignment for the
Crafty Scrapper design team! I rushed home, pulled everything out and
NOTHING! The creativity was just NOT there. I bet you have been there.
When I need some help to get the creative juices going I use sketches.
You can find them on our
Pinterest page, magazines and one of my
favorites - PageMaps
Here is the finished layout:
I
followed the sketch closely on this layout but sometimes I will start
and it sparks an idea and I make it my own. I wanted my title to be a
little bigger than on the sketch so I pulled out one of my favorite
alphabet dies... the Tim Holtz Word Play die... It's a great playful font.
I cut my chipboard and then colored the pieces with a black Copic marker.
Then
I added Glossy Accents to the top of the letters. You can also use it
on other parts of you page that you want to highlight.
I
really like the Head Over Heels collection by Bo Bunny... It's so so
easy to put different patterned papers together. You can find this
collection at the Crafty Scrapper... Come on down and I will help you
put it together!
